We are CROW
Crowthorne Reduce Our Waste (CROW) was set up as part of ‘Plastic Free Communities’, a Surfers Against Sewage initiative.
...
Plastic pollution has sadly become synonymous with everything we do; from walking, running, beach holidays to wildlife watching – unfortunately it is now an expected part of our experience. This is why marine plastic pollution and specifically tackling society’s throwaway, excessive or unnecessary plastic culture, has become Surfers Against Sewage’s top priority.
...Plastic pollution is an issue which affects all parts of society and is something that we can all take action on, at every level. Indeed, it will only be through concrete, collective, positive action that we can make the change in culture needed to stop to plastic flood from overwhelming our world.
Plastic Free Crowthorne aims to minimise our villages contribution to the plastic crisis. We are proud to be the awarded SAS Plastic Free Communities Status, but the work does not stop there.
